Historic Downtown Pocatello is the place to be on the first Friday of every month. First Friday Art Walk features art, music, food, fashion and

more in over 20 downtown shops and restaurants. Admission and parking for this event are free.

From 5pm to 8pm on the first Friday of every month you are invited to come enjoy Art Walk in Historic Downtown Pocatello.

Pocatello Food Truck Round Up

A variety of food trucks will be on-site for a wonderful dining experience!  Dinner at the Point this year will include lawn games, the playground is open and picnic tables are ready for your entire family!

Revive @ 5 Free Wednesday Evening Concerts

June 4 to August 27

Every Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

At Lookout Point 435 W. Center St.


Join the Bannock Civitan Club as they host Revive @ 5 every Wednesday June-August.  From 5-8:00 p.m. these free concerts feature a different band on stage every week, food trucks serving delicious food, cold beverages, and fun for the entire family!

Oldies Rod & Custom Car Show

100 Block S. Union Pacific Avenue


The Pocatello Senior Activity Center and Historic Downtown Pocatello present the annual Oldies Rod & Custom Car Show.  This year's show will be held on the grassy area on the 100 block of S. Union Pacific Avenue, behind Station Square. There will be a variety of vehicles, each with its own story and history.  There will be oldies music, food and family fun.  This event is a fundraiser for the Pocatello Senior Activity Center.  Please plan to join us!  To register your vehicle, please contact the Senior Activity Center at 208-233-1212.

Neon Fest

July 11 & 12, 2025

Locations throughout Historic Downtown Pocatello


Historic Downtown Pocatello's Relight the Night Committee is excited to announce the next neon sign restoration project taking place this summer during the debut of Pocatello’s 1st Annual Neon Fest, a two-day celebration of Neon, slated for July 11 and 12. The historic Idaho Motel Neon Sign is currently being restored and will be relit at Lookout Point in the heart of Historic Downtown Pocatello.


Plan now to visit Historic Downtown Pocatello on Friday, July 11 and Saturday, July 12 for two days of all things Neon!  There is no admission costs for any of the activities planned during Neon Fest!


Friday, July 11

The July Art Walk will be held on July 11 from 5-8:00 p.m. and will have a “neon” theme.  Come for a charming evening stroll through our shops and galleries featuring local and regional art, music, food, fashion, and so much more. 


Relight the Night will host a guided Neon Sign Walking Tour beginning at 8:30 p.m. The tour will follow the signs outlined in the Neon Walking Tour Brochure, beginning at The Chief Theater Sign located on the 200 block of North Main Street.


Saturday, July 12

Those visiting Pocatello for Neon Fest will be invited to visit the Portneuf Valley Farmers Market on Saturday morning beginning at 9:00 a.m. at Lookout Point, followed by a wonderful shopping experience throughout the Downtown area.  Then join Relight the Night at Lookout Point for an evening of live music featuring Steve Eaton. 


Festivities for the evening will begin at 5:00 p.m. with food trucks, neon drinks, activities for the kids and more! Steve Eaton will take the stage from 6-7:30 p.m. 

The Idaho Motel Sign Relighting will take place at 8:30 p.m. It’s an opportunity for the community and visitors to watch the sign officially be turned back on to shine brightly every evening.


Following the relighting, the movie “CARS” will be shown on the stage. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs for this family evening with movie popcorn, glow lights and fun for all!


For visitors coming from out of town, the TownePlace Suites Pocatello is offering a special Neon Fest Guest Rate from $119 to $129 USD per night.  The last date to book will be June 26, 2025.  Click here for details.


The Idaho Motel Sign restoration is being funded by a grant from the Idaho Heritage Trust which will cover half the cost of the renovation. Fundraising for the remaining half is currently underway. Relight the Night has had several substantial donations but we still have a ways to go. The Great Pumpkin Fest returns to Historic Downtown Pocatello on Saturday October 4, along with the Portneuf Valley Farmers Market Harvest Festival and Apple Pie Contest. From 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. enjoy a beautiful Fall Saturday strolling through the festivities and visiting our local shops, coffee stops, bakeries, restaurants and breweries. Come Join Us!

Haunted History Walking Tours

Beginning October 4


Tickets will be available for our famous Haunted History Walking Tours in September! Tours will begin on October 4 and continue every Friday and Saturday through the month. Spiro Paranormal has another exciting tour of buildings planned this year! Get your tickets early, these tours always sell out.

Trick-or-Treat Downtown

Friday, October 31

From 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Trick-or-Treat Downtown will take place on Friday, October 31, Halloween afternoon, from 3:00-5:30 p.m. Our merchants and businesses will have treats for all of the little ghosts and goblins! Come in costume and walk business to business enjoying a safe, daytime Halloween event.

15th Annual Gate City Brewfest

The 14th Annual Gate City Brewfest will be returning to Pocatello on Saturday, March 9, 2026.  From 1:00 to 6:00 p.m. brewers will offer over 80 different beers for tasting in restaurants, breweries, pubs and bars throughout Downtown Pocatello. Sample craft beers new to our area plus local and regional favorites. 

Tickets go on sale in December.
